 It's hard to sleep. I can't get Japan off of my mind. I am obsessing over watching tsunami videos...which lead me to whirl pool (in lakes/oceans) videos...which lead me to black hole videos...and after getting sidetracked and terrified for awhile, I go back to my previous sad thinking about the 10,000+ deaths happening as I type this. So, so sad. We should all take a hint from the people living there, though. They are being amazingly calm and productive, not even looting from stores when they don't have anything left. Ridiculous! Amazing! No wonder I am obsessed with Japan..they are the elite people of the world, in my eyes. The tattoo on my wrist is a symbol of the country itself. <3 you Japan. Still in my thoughts.

This week I go to Cali. Home number two. Going to see the sun for more than an hour!! My freckles are already showing through my pale skin (yay!). Probably won't be posting much while I am there, unfortunately. I saw this "Just Sayin" bracelet by Jac Vanek  and I had to have it. I just wish the writing on it was a bit smaller, so I wouldn't have to turn my wrist when someone asks what it says. Oh well, life is rough, right? ;-) But seriously, rough life -- poor Japan. There are some crazy tsunami videos out there, and aftershocks aren't stopping, all of it killing more and more people. Makes me feel safe and blessed to be living here in the midwest. My thoughts and sympathy go out to everyone living there.

Back in the day...the not so distant day...I laughed and laughed at Spencer Pratt for his love of crystals, and how he was covered in them. And now look at what happened. Okay, I hardly give him credit.  I just love the look of raw quartz and amber colored crystals. On a more southern note, awhile back I fell in love with these "puked up hairball" shorts, as my coworkers like to call them. Bring on the barf, I say. I am somewhat of a shorts hoarder which hasn't been good to me the past few months due to a freezing cold Winter. This is what I am looking forward to almost more than basking in the sun on a boat - wearing shorts. Love love love my plethora of these little tiny pants. Anyway, enjoy.

Spikes and crystals and arrows and chains...feeeeeed meeeeeeeeeeeee.

How do we feel about Black Milks negative bones leggings? I kind of want them. I definitely want the velvet leggings, I have been looking for a pair of these for awhile. And of course, galaxy print. Can't get enough of that. They've got some great one piece suits right now, that would be great to use as body suits...maybe good enough to go with my new crochet bell bottoms that should be arriving hopefully soon. Mmmhmm.

I have always and will always loved cropped tops. What better than this light, somewhat shear, perfect length, fall through spring worthy, Freepeople top. I would like to wear this every day until it gets to be 100+ degrees out. Maybe I'll sleep in it.

Oh, oh Leila

Leila Shams is one of my recent favorites. She is relatively new to the solo scene, and I am mega wanting her entire Super Freak s/s 2011 collection. Her 2 prior collections to this were awesome as well...but the upcoming Fall collection...meh. Not too excited about it. These pieces are fan-freaking-tastic, though. Can't decide which is my favorite, but I am feeling those tie-dye purple pants.
