A.D.D. WALL

handmade cut out leggings from emilia caracol, southwest bomber jacket c/o cross office, my salvation arrow necklace, thrifted mens flannel, jeffrey campbell boots, uo beanie

So, it's Winter. This beanie is fused to my head for the next couple of months. Sorry about the redundancy of its appearance in my posts. I was at my parents house eating dinner and (obviously) watching Breaking Bad with my maja and faja, when I decided maybe I could take a few photos in my old room/basement. Have fun looking at all that old crap all over the neon wall. It's jam packed full of memories throughout the years and I hope it never gets painted over. The entire basement is actually covered with painted pictures, sharpie drawings, and spray paint tags. On one wall I painted an entire beach scene when I was a teenager, which has since been covered over with hot pink paint and I believe now has a unicorn with a 5'oclock shadow wearing a business suit drawn on it with a black sharpie. Artistic family, I must say.

I got these boots during the Solestruck Black Friday weekend sale. Hellz yes. The snow has already ruined them, so that's cool. Winter is so great. So nice and convenient and comfortable. Anyway, I have spent this weekend barely sleeping due to insane polish partying involving chair breaking and a polka band and shots of Jezynowka, so I am going to take a much needed nap before I pass out on the keyboard.

Go look at my tumblr and based on my taste, if you can, recommend  other accounts to follow! I'd love suggestions.

PINK CRUELLA

Again with the downward stare. Can't stop won't stop.

This top I got on sale for 9 dollars. Bra from American Apparel. Beanie from Urban Outfitters. And, the reason for the post, new hair. Kind of. Put some color onto half of it. Makes for an interesting twist on Cruella DeVille in the modern day of colorful dip dyes and ombres. Thought I'd do something similar, but my own way. Less horizontal and more vertical. More smudge than dip. Half-smudge-dye is what I will call it. It's a bit more magenta-pink than what it looks like in these photos. Partial Cruella hair. Next new thing, you just wait.
I now have a tumblr, people. Full of clothes and chicks with style that I love. And, of course, wishful daydream landscapes of deserts. Duh.

Song para tu. Tu with a tilde.

PENNY LANE WINTER

Apparently I hate my eyes and only look down in photos?
velvet leopard leggings c/o kayleigh peddie, thrifted coat, top c/o once youth, bone necklace c/o scavenged art, under the pyramids triangle necklace, unearthen pendulum ring, beanie from uo

So many things I would like to talk about here. First, being lazy and having my butt fused to the couch, I have created a tumblr account. I am new, I don't quite understand, and I need cool people to follow. Help me out! Second, I wore this the other night...as there was not a sheet of ICE over snow on the ground like there is right now. This 7 dollar coat that I found reminded my friend Michelle of Almost Famous, so I will say from now on that this is my Penny Lane coat. Way better than "thrift store coat". That tank would not have sufficed unless the coat stayed on, had I worn this today or last night. This weather is making me want to murder someone. Or get a dog. Currently in the process of trying to get a dog. Living downtown on the 5th floor of an old fruit warehouse turned apartment building, where there really isn't anything but restaurants, bars, and shops around...I am told I cannot have a dog. No no NO dog. "Unless you have a medical note for a service dog." Okay. I have now made an appointment with a random therapist so I can let them know how crazy and full of anxiety I am unless I'm around animals so I can get a medical note for a "service dog" that will help "calm me down". I have a feeling this will fall through, but other psychiatrists that I know on a more personal level have told me that it is very likely I can get that doggie prescription note. Wish me luck. My dog will be named Sticky, if I get one. The Stick.

Oh yeah, this is a fashion blog, right? Maybe I should talk about something less personal and conniving? I will start with the leggings. Kayleigh Peddie is a designer I have been somewhat obsessing over (another mental issue I have - being obsessive? yes, I'm obsessive! solution: dog.). On top of awesome tees and skirts, she makes PERFECT velvet leggings and cropped tops with exactly-my-style prints. I was lucky enough to be sent these high waisted leopard leggings that I am convinced I will wear the crap out of. Here are some examples of her immense raddness. Check out her store here.

Next up, Scavenged Art. I couldn't be more happy with this bone necklace that Suzanne custom made for me. With the skulls and the bones and the black chain, this is the ideal pinch of voodoo I enjoy in my accessories. I've got a serious witch love when it comes to my jewelry. Suzanne makes such stunning necklaces that it's hard to choose a favorite from her collection. Check out her jewelry here. After much indecisiveness, here are my top five.

Last but not least. The winner of the Solder and Punch spike cuff is....Leigh Travers! Congrats, lady. You can thank random.org

CRYSTAL METH

top c/o artful aussie, diy skirt, sam edelman shoes, titanium quartz necklace c/o black bird revival, my salvation bracelet, unearthen ring

If you are a twitter-er, then you maybe saw the tweet about my DIY skirt inspired by crystal meth. Obsessed with Breaking Bad, I felt I should wear around a piece that represented my love. Kind of like a love tattoo, or wearing a vile of blood...but less creepy. Though I am okay with being a creep, instead I made a skirt! Another article of clothing I was bored with. Bleached and dyed. Paired with this peachy pink and orange cut up top from Artful Aussie, I am one shredded and ripped up ginger, here. But seriously, check out their etsy store for real (yo). Such great affordable shredded pieces.
Excuse my "I worked out and took a nap with sweaty hair and this is the result" hair. I hardly ever wash my hair. Such a gross hippie. Probably bugs in there.

Don't forget to enter my Spiked Cuff Giveaway HERE.

And another tropical-surf-duo song for you from my favorite band eva, to make you feel like it's still Summer.

And another goody.

METAL SPIKE CUFF GIVE-AWAY

Solder and Punch has teamed up with me to do this sweet giveaway for my readers. I have been wearing these cuffs pretty much non stop since they were sent on ova' to me. Why? Spikes. Spikes on a cuff. Yes please. These bad boys go perfectly with stacked bracelets and a bad attitude. Give or take the bad attitude, but lately that's been my case. (Winter weather and idiot drivers.)

SO.
This giveaway will go on for one week, ending Sunday the 4th of December.
To enter:

1. Either follow the Solder and Punch blog here OR Solder and Punch facebook here.
2. "Like" this post on Bloglovin.
3. Leave a comment with your e-mail address and which option you picked to follow, so I can contact you if you win.

That is all. Easy peasy.

Also, when I'm not living in my D&D kimono, I have been curling up in this poncho from Poetry For Jane. They've got a wonderful etsy store full of vintage goodies like this, this, and this. Affordable prices, too.
Do you like my silly photoshop effects? WhoooOOoooooOOo so interesting.

LACED WITH ROMANCE

I've posted about them before, but jeesh. I mean, seriously? This is probably the only single online boutique that I continuously obsess over week after week. Always stocking killer vintage clothing, Laced With Romance never lets my oogling eyes down. Their local clothing line DUST & DRAG (view old fan post HERE) may be my absolute favorite line ever. Ever ever. Stephanie Villalobos-Fellabaum is a creative genius. I want it all and I want it now.

And as if I didn't already hate having boobs, this model tempts me to perform my own surgery and hack mine off in the kitchen with some large house scissors. Cleavage BLOWS.
